We are delighted to announce the appointment of a new member of the Tecnologic UK team, Sean Donelan. Sean has joined our Technical Sales team, looking to cultivate and develop our client relationships.
About Tecnologic UK
Tecnologic UK is the UK arm of Ascon Tecnologic srl, an Italian temperature control manufacturer. Formed to act as a bridge between our factories in Europe and the UK market place, we specialise in digital and software-based controls, bespoke electronics designs, and temperature and solid state switching solutions.
Since we began in 2003, we have grown year on year, with both a greatly expanded product range and customer base. This has been achieved because we focus on:
- Selling solutions based on competitive prices and technical advice
- Developing key partnerships within the industry
However, Tecnologic UK are always looking to improve and enhance what we do and that’s why Sean has joined the team.
Sean has a long and extensive career in engineering, spanning 23 years and covering circuit board design, global on-site commissioning, development and supervisory roles. This includes a wealth of experience in many industry sectors and a comprehensive background in automation technology. As a result, Sean is experienced with a number of major brands in automation hardware, PLC, HMI, Drive systems, data communications and sensors.
For 13 years Sean has worked in sales, from regional and national to General Manager roles and is a strong proponent of conceptual selling – maintaining high levels of communication with numerous contact points and placing greater focus on understanding the needs of the customer.
Most recently, Sean has been the business development manager of Unitronics in the UK. Tecnologic and Unitronics have enjoyed a long and successful partnership over the years and Sean has known the director of Tecnologic UK since 2005. Sean’s knowledge of Unitronics products and understanding of Tecnologic’s business, makes him uniquely qualified to undertake his new role with us.
The New Role
One of Sean’s key responsibilities will be to provide excellent customer care to our clients, helping to make them fully aware of the full range of solutions and services we offer, and to ensure Tecnologic are meeting the needs of our customers in the best possible way.
A key aspect of this is for Sean to physically travel to and meet with clients which will help us to cultivate and develop our relationship with our clients.
