PTC Thermistors

Our industrial quality PTC thermistors can be ordered in a variety of lead materials and tube sizes, and are designed to cater for a range of heating/cooling applications.

PTC sensors exhibit a positive temperature coefficient, meaning their electrical resistance increases with an increase in temperature.
The resistance of a PTC sensor typically rises rapidly as the temperature rises.

The PTC sensors available here to buy online are providing a stainless steel probe along with silicone/pvc cables. These PTC sensors are submersible and provide a low cost solution with high temperature accuracy.

They are used in various applications, including overcurrent protection, temperature sensing, and self-regulating heating elements. They are designed to work with many digital thermostats and we can provide specific advice to you should you require compatibility guidance.

Custom PTC sensors and solutions are also available on request.

The temperature range for these PTC thermistors is a standard -50 to 100C. Officially PTC thermistors can go to 150C utilising high-temperature leads and silicon and our RSA does achieve this higher temperature.
